Yahoo struggles to keep it real
That was absolutely fantastic on Yahoo’s part this week to delay its deadline for nominating a board slate.
Funny… can’t Microsoft just nominate a rival slate of directors tomorrow? Don’t we all know that Microsoft’s nominees are going to be different than Yahoo’s?
I keep having the feeling that Yahoo is like that kid is who standing in front of class, making everyone laugh because he is so clever. But in reality, his fly is down and he has no clue.
Yahoo is hammering away on all the governance buttons, moving around the p.r. joystick in the proverbial game of DonkeyProxyKong, with Microsoft standing patiently in line. Eventually Yahoo’s game will run out (look out for that barrel filled with cash and stock!), and Microsoft is up next with all the quarters in the world.
